Preschool and Kindergarten

Kinder Program

Our kindergarten program receives ESA funding, which allows our students to be tuition-free for the kindergarten class from 9 am to 2 pm. We offer aftercare from 2 pm to 3 pm ($125) or 2 pm to 5 pm ($150) per week.

Hatch Program

Our academy offers parents access to follow their child’s development through our digital academic growth tracker with Hatch. Hatch is a learning platform anchored in a child-facing app that delivers engaging, research-based learning experiences through a dynamic digital play environment. Hatch supports development across key areas critical to early learning success.

South Mountain

Students enrolled at South Mountain Community College Sites (Main, Guadalupe, or Laveen) are eligible to receive a full Scholarship (free) or reduced  Childcare tuition at Tree of Life Preschool Academy, based on the number of classes and credits. 

Scholarship Eligibility:

• A minimum enrollment of three credits, regardless of whether on campus or online. 

• Be enrolled to maintain the scholarships.

• Students who complete, drop, or are withdrawn are no longer eligible for a scholarship

• Scholarship will end on the effective date of discontinued enrollment from SMCC.​

Process for Enrollment

• Go to the Tree of Life for child care for a tour and to pick up an enrollment packet and the Information Release Form.

• We are located in the NCC building behind the college. Near the bus stop.

• Pick up an enrollment Packet and Information Release Form.

• Student/Parent Complete And Return To:

  • Tree of Life ​​

    • Class schedule.

    • Enrollment packet 

    • Copy of Information Release Form and

  • Once received, Tree of Life will work with you to set up a start date and child's schedule

  • (Part-time or Full-time and days of the week)​​ and any fees.

  • Return to SMCC Admissions and Records Office

  • Original Information Release Form to the Attention Jean Watermolen.

  • Preference is in-person submission

  Important

• Parents (students) are fully responsible for the registration fee of Tree of Life Preschool Academy

  • The scholarship applies toward the TOL tuition fee only. 

  • Scholarships awarded by TOL to SMCC students’ children are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Children’s scholarship credit will be for one-half of the total enrolled credit hours.  

  • Students have up to two hours for each credit towards their child care services

  • The scholarship provides time for research, study, and extra-curricular activities as needed
